Live: Protesters Vow to Continue Until President Tinubu Meets Demands

Protesters have declared that their demonstrations will persist unless President Bola Tinubu meets their demands. They have urged the president to take necessary actions to address their concerns, promising that the protests would be called off immediately upon compliance.

In a press conference held in Abuja, Damilare Adenola, the Director of Mobilisation for the Take It Back Movement, expressed frustration over the prolonged oppression under President Tinubu’s leadership. He criticized court orders that limit protest locations, describing them as aberrations.

"The various court orders restricting protesters to particular locations are an aberration. Our presence here today is an announcement that we have been oppressed for too long," Adenola stated. "Today, we have risen. We are saying to the president that unless President Bola Tinubu accedes to our demands, we will remain on the streets. We want to see the president on the street. During the protest, he was on the street."

Ayoola Babalola, another leader of the Take It Back Movement, condemned the heavy security presence around the Moshood Abiola premises, calling it an embarrassment to the nation. He reaffirmed the protesters' resolve, declaring that they would not be intimidated.

"Our presence here today is an announcement that we have been oppressed for too long," Babalola emphasized, vowing that the protesters would not back down.
