Current PL Table And Review After Arsenal 2-0 Won to Overtake Manchester United and Liverpool

Arsenal opened their Premier League season with a solid 2-0 victory over Wolves at the Emirates Stadium.

Goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka on either side of halftime ensured Mikel Arteta’s side started their campaign on a positive note.

Arsenal controlled much of the first half, with Havertz breaking the deadlock in the 25th minute.

His close-range header from a precise Bukayo Saka cross gave the Gunners the lead they sought. However, Wolves remained a threat, particularly in the second half, as they looked to capitalize on Arsenal's defensive lapses.

Wolves' best chance came when Matheus Cunha found himself one-on-one with Arsenal’s keeper after William Saliba's miscalculated pass.

However, Cunha failed to convert, with his shot going straight at the goalkeeper, preserving Arsenal's narrow lead.

Bukayo Saka sealed the victory for the Gunners with a powerful strike in the 74th minute, easing the tension among the home fans.

Saka received the ball on the right side of the penalty area, and after creating space, he fired a shot past Wolves' keeper to double Arsenal's lead.

Arsenal’s defense, led by Saliba and Gabriel, had moments of uncertainty, but the team’s overall performance was enough to secure all three points.
