BBNaija housemates, Wanni X Handi, recently shared an emotional story about the challenges they faced after finishing secondary school. In a heartfelt speech during a task presentation in the Big Brother Naija house, the duo recounted their difficult journey after completing their education in 2016 and relocating to Lagos.

Upon arriving in Lagos, they struggled with the realities of living far from their workplace. They described how they had to wake up as early as 3 a.m. to prepare and walk to work each day, despite earning a meager salary. The distance and low pay added to the difficulties they were already facing.

Their situation worsened after they lost their job. They applied for more than 100 jobs but were rejected by every single one, leaving them jobless, homeless, and without money. Eventually, they secured a job for which they were underqualified. Despite their hard work, they were let go because their boss was dissatisfied with their performance.

Despite these setbacks, Wanni X Handi found a path forward by working as DJs. However, even in this new role, they faced bullying and accusations, particularly because they were women in a male-dominated field.
